Hey everybody. Just wanted to give a quick update. Still learning more of what exactly happened, but as some of you saw/ heard I had to be taken to the hospital this am. I am resting at home now and have follow ups soon,🤞 to get back to full health and back in the car soon

UPDATE: Front Row Motorsports says Matt Tifft has been released from the hospital Saturday afternoon. He is returning home and will not race on Sunday. Matt Crafton will drive the #36.

Front Row Motorsports GM Jerry Freeze wouldn’t disclose the medical issue but said he expects Matt Tifft to be released from hospital this afternoon. Won’t race this weekend. Crafton will replace him for qualifying and race. #nascar @nascaronfox

ORIGINAL POST: Matt Tifft was taken to the infield care center at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday morning. He was then taken to the hospital by ambulance.
There is no word on his condition or what has happened. However, the team says Tifft will not be in the car Saturday. Matt Crafton will take his place.
