- The fan sponsored #62 Team Paradigm chevy team says it is very close to announcing both a limited race deal with corporate sponsorship, and the signing of a quality Winston Cup driver. see the Team Paradigm Site for more info on the team.(4-12-98)
- On TNN’s Raceday Sunday, Dale Earnhardt, Jr said he may attempt a Winston Cup race later in the 1998 season and possible 5 races in 1999.(4-12-98)
- Brad Loney will return in the #45 Hunters Specialties Chevrolet BGN Car for Talladega. This is Beyond his 5 Race deal with Laughlin Racing. He will also race the #45 in Atlanta, unless he has a ride outside the #45 car by then. Not sure what the plans for the team are for the remainder of the 1998 BGN season. I hear the team is concentrating on the Hooters Pro Cup and will only drive in a few BGN events.(4-12-98)
