Alan Kulwicki … Geoff Bodine.
Two different drivers, two different owners, two different people. When Bodine bought Kulwicki’s Winston Cup team several months after the 1992 champion’s tragic death, he and crew chief Paul Andrews faced a most definite learning curve. Kulwicki had been a hands-on owner from the first bolt that was turned on a car all the way to the race track. Bodine, on the other hand, left most of the construction of his cars up to Andrews.
Despite the change in ownership, Andrews and the rest of the 7 team were able to adjust and take Bodine all the way to victory lane in 1994.
