NASCAR’s The Pace Lap returns to MAVtv for their third season this Thursday night.
The Pace Lap is NASCAR’s weekly news show featuring guest personalities from the sport. TPL brings unique insight into the world of racing by highlighting stars from every level of NASCAR competition. The show’s new time slot (Thursday nights 1am ET/10pm PT) will bring you everything you need to know heading into the weekend of racing.
The show is hosted by Jessie Punch, daughter of long-time broadcaster Dr. Jerry Punch. In her fifth season with NASCAR, Jessie is continuing the family tradition of in-depth and passionate coverage of the sport of auto racing. Filmed in Charlotte, The Pace Lap is produced by NASCAR Productions on behalf of MAVtv and is also distributed to NASCAR’s international broadcast partners.
On the season premiere, Jessie sits down with guest co-host Doug Rice, president & general manager of Performance Racing Network, to discuss the Next Gen car, the 2021 Hall of Fame Class, and the Busch Light Clash at the LA Memorial Coliseum. Plus, Cup Series Driver/Owner BJ McLeod gives a drivers perspective by taking sim laps around the Coliseum. The episode will air Thursday night on MAVtv.
