For Sunday’s Cup race, it could be simply said that William Byron dominated the greatest portion of it, but Denny Hamlin ended up winning. Fortunately, it was much more than that. From Lake Speed giving the invocation, to the Wood family giving the call to start the engines, to special guests in the booth during the race, to throwback paint schemes and fan apparel…it was a real treat for NASCAR fans watching from home or at the track. Those watching at home also got to watch the commercials, too; as throwback or modern races all need the sponsors to make it all happen. For those folks who would like to know precisely how many ads there were, and how much time they took during the broadcast, here is this week’s breakdown.
