Kaulig Racing will pause its Xfinity Series program

By Dustin Albino

Kaulig Racing will pause its Xfinity Series program for the 2026 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series season, team sources have confirmed to Jayski.

Since debuting in the series full time in 2016, Kaulig has won 27 races in 10 seasons, including a pair of regular-season championships from AJ Allmendinger in 2021 and 2022. The California native made a pair of Championship 4 appearances with the team, placing third in the championship battle in 2024. Justin Haley made the team’s first bid at a championship in 2020.

Neither Christian Eckes or Daniel Dye – the two full-time regulars in 2025 – made the playoffs this season. Eckes leads the way with six top-five and 15 top-10 finishes. Josh Williams parted ways with Kaulig in August.

Kaulig will transition to the Craftsman Truck Series in 2026, running five full-time trucks with RAM. Brenden Queen, who has competed in Kaulig’s No. 11 car four times since Williams’ departure, was announced as one of the team’s drivers earlier this month. The remainder of the lineup will be announced at a later date, though Dye is expected to remain with the organization.

Should RAM move to the Cup Series in future years, the expectation is Kaulig would eventually return to the  O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.
