Burt Myers returning to Team AmeriVet at Bowman Gray

Team AmeriVet, with driver Burt Myers, is returning to the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium, backed by the support of Tibbetts Lumber, C3, Chevrolet, ForgiveCo, AmeriVet Securities, The Casey Caudill Foundation, Citrusafer Cleaners, and ECR Engines.

A Bowman Gray Stadium icon, Myers is eager for another opportunity behind the wheel of the Team AmeriVet Cup car. “Getting another shot in the Cup car at Bowman Gray means a lot to me,” said Myers. “Last time left us wanting more, and I’m grateful to Team AmeriVet and our partners for believing in me and giving us a chance to come back and do it right in front of these fans.”

Veteran crew chief Tony Eury Jr. will once again be calling the shots for Myers, bringing decades of NASCAR Cup Series experience to the No. 50 team. “Bowman Gray is a place where experience and discipline matter,” said Eury. “Burt knows this track as well as anyone, and our focus is on giving him a car that can stay in the fight all night.”

Team AmeriVet and its partners will once again make a meaningful impact off the track. Through the team’s 50 Vets a Week powered by ForgiveCo program, this event will erase $250,000 in veteran debt thanks to its partners. In 2025 alone, Team AmeriVet relieved over $1,000,000 in veteran debt, reinforcing its commitment to honoring those who served.

Team owner Rebecca Auchmoody emphasized the importance of the event for both competition and cause. “We’re proud to return to Bowman Gray with Burt and Tony Jr, alongside partners who believe in us both on and off the track,” said Auchmoody. “Every lap we run helps us give back to veterans in a meaningful way.”

“We’re extremely excited to be heading into the Cook Out Clash and to be working alongside a proven competitor like Burt Myers,” said Casey Caudill, co-owner of Team AmeriVet and founder of The Casey Caudill Foundation. “Events like this represent everything we love about racing. Hard competition, passionate fans, and the opportunity to showcase what our team is building both on and off the track. We’re proud of the momentum Team AmeriVet has right now, and we’re looking forward to a strong showing while continuing to use our platform to give back through the Foundation.”
