#9-Chase Elliott won the Go Bowling 235 NASCAR Cup Series race at Daytona International Speedway. The win is his 2nd win of the year and 8th career win. The race was the first for the Cup Series on the Daytona road course.
#11-Hamlin finished 2nd followed by #19-Truex, Jr., #48-Johnson, #17-Buescher, #14-Bowyer, #3-Grala (filling in for Austin Dillon and making his Cup debut), #24-Byron, #22-Logano, and #34-McDowell.
