Kyle Larson continues hot streak with NASCAR All-Star Race win: Larson ultimately held off Keselowski by a scant .206-seconds. Elliott was third, followed by Penske teammates Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney. Hendrick Motorsports’ other two cars – driven by Alex Bowman and William Byron finished sixth and seventh, respectively. Byron’s 30 laps out front were most on the night. Aric Almirola, Kyle Busch and his older brother Kurt Busch rounded out the Top-10 in the 21-car field.[Read More](6-13-2021)

#5-Kyle Larson won the NASCAR All-Star Race at Texas Motor Speedway. It is his second All-Star Race win.
#2-Keselowski finished 2nd followed by #9-Elliott, #22-Logano, #12-Blaney, #48-Bowman, #24-Byron, #10-Almirola, #18-Busch, and #1-Busch.
Larson took the lead from Keselowski with 7 laps remaining and help him off the rest of the way.
The race was broken into 6 rounds.  The first 4 round were 15 laps each and won by: #5-Larson, #12-Blaney, #48-Bowman, and #24-Byron.
After the first round, the top 12 finishers were inverted. Following the second round, the entire field was inverted. At the conclusion of the third round, the top 9 were inverted.
Before the 5th round, drivers were lined up based on their average finish in the first 4 rounds.
The fifth round was 30 laps and was won by #9-Elliott.
The sixth and final round was 10 laps.
Only green flag laps counted during the entire race.

The Entry Lists for the NASCAR Open and All-Star races at Texas Motor Speedway are posted.
17 eligible drivers are entered for the All-Star race.
For the open, 22 teams are entered, including #13-Starr, #15-Davison, #33-Cindric, #53-Smithley, #66-Hill. Not entered: #37-Preece.

The All-Star Open will consist of:

  • 50 total laps.
  • 3 stages (20-20-10).
  • The winner of each stage will advance to the All-Star Race.
  • The driver with the highest total in the fan vote that is not already in the race, will get the final spot in the All-Star Race.

The All-Star race format is as follows:

  • The race will feature six rounds, totaling 100 laps.
  • Starting lineup for Round 1 will be determined via random draw.
  • Rounds 1 through 4 will be 15 laps each; Round 5 will be 30 laps; the Final Round will feature a 10-lap shootout.
  • At the beginning of Round 2, the field will be inverted via random draw (minimum of eight/maximum of 12) live on FS1.
  • Before the start of Round 3, the entire field will be inverted.
  • At the beginning of Round 4, the field will be inverted via random draw (minimum of eight/maximum of 12).
  • Starting positions for Round 5 will consist of the cumulative finish from Rounds 1-4. The lowest cumulative finisher starts on the pole, second-lowest starts second, and so forth. All cars must enter pit road for a mandatory four-tire pit stop during Round 5.
  • The starting positions in the Final Round are set by finishing positions of Round 5.
  • Only green flag laps will count in the NASCAR All-Star race.
  • The fastest team on pit road during the mandatory pit stop will earn $100,000.
  • The race winner will be awarded $1,000,000.

From a technical side, all elements of the car remain the same except for the tapered spacer which will be 57/64ths. That will give the cars a horsepower of about 510.
