On Lap 31, Blaney’s No. 12 Team Penske Ford was third in line in the bottom lane behind Erik Jones and Denny Hamlin when Jones’ No. 43 Petty GMS Chevrolet got loose and lost momentum off Turn 2. Blaney slammed into the back of Hamlin’s Toyota, turning the No. 11 Camry toward the infield. The race was red flagged for track drying for 3 hours, 19 minutes, 57 seconds with 21 laps remaining. The caution came out when rain hit the track while the race was still green and several drivers spun out due to wet track conditions. 13 drivers we caught in the wreck.
Dillon lead the race on the restart with 16 laps remaining, but was passed by Cindric with 15 to go. Dillon retook the lead coming to two laps remaining and held on for the win.
