#14-Rick Crawford won the first pole of 132 CTS race career with a speed of 150.414mph at Dover for the MBNA America 200 at Dover International Speedway (ESPN at 3:3opm/et). 2nd was #1-Ted Musgrave and #2-Jason Leffler with #29-Terry Cook being fourth and #60-Travis

#26-Ron Hornaday won the pole for the CarQuest Auto Parts 300 BGN race at Lowe's Motor Speedway with a speed of 182.094mph, 2nd was #99-Michael Waltrip at 181.549, followed by #25-Bobby Hamilton Jr. at 180.832, #21-Jeff Green at 180.620 and #66-Todd Bodine at 180.608
