In a dominant performance, #88-Connor Zilisch won the Pacific Office Automation 147 Xfinity Series race at Portland International Raceway. Zilisch led the opening 67 laps until he was passed on a restart. He took the lead back on the final restart, leading the final three laps. This is Zilisch’s eighth victory of the season — and his sixth in the last seven races. He scored the maximum 61 points for sweeping all three stages and having the Xfinity Fastest Lap.
#18-William Sawalich finished runner-up, earning his best series finish. #48-Nick Sanchez charged from the rear of the field to finish third. #16-Christian Eckes and #21-Austin Hill rounded out the top five.
#1-Carson Kvapil, #27-Jeb Burton, #32-Austin Green, #31-Blaine Perkins and #2-Jesse Love filled the rest of the top 10.
There were two lead changes among two drivers and four cautions for 14 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was 66.688 mph.

Race Updates:
Lap 78: #88-Zilisch hangs on for the victory, scoring his eighth win of the season. #18-Sawalich, #48-Sanchez, #16-Eckes, #21-Hill, #1-Kvapil, #27-Burton, #32-Green, #31-Perkins and #2-Love complete the top 10.
Lap 76: #21-Hill and #88-Zilisch wash up the track on the restart, allowing #8-Smith to get three wide and he gets turned by #48-Sanchez entering Turn 1. Zilisch went off course, but maintained the lead with #18-Sawalich filing in second.
Lap 74: #7-Allgaier, #20-Jones and #41-Mayer all hit pit road to put on a fresh set of tires and repairs.
Lap 71: The caution flies for #19-Pekrins being stuck in Turn 12. The current top 10 is: #21-Hill, #88-Zilisch, #1-Kvapil, #18-Sawalich, #8-Smith, #16-Eckes, #2-Love, #48-Sanchez, #27-Burton and #32-Green.

Lap 47: Track workers have put out the fire in Turn 11 by spraying fire extinguishers through the fencing.

Lap 12: 18-Sawalich went wide in Turns 10 and 11, slipping in the grass and dropping back to eighth position.
Lap 10: #88-Zilisch has increased the race lead to five seconds over #7-Allgaier. #21-Hill is closing in on Allgaier for the runner-up spot.
Lap 9: #14-Smithley went off in the dirt in Turn 10 and looped around through Turn 11.
Lap 7: #18-Sawalich outbrakes #41-Mayer entering Turn 1 to take fourth position. #1-Kvapil and #2-Love are closing in on Mayer for fifth.
Lap 5: #48-Sanchez has cracked the top 20 after being among the several cars to drop to the rear ahead of the green flag for unapproved adjustments.
Lap 3: #88-Zilisch has stretched the lead to one-second over #7-Allgaier. #21-Hill settled in third, 2.5-seconds behind. #41-Mayer and #18-Sawalich complete the top five.

  • Field will be frozen at time of caution and all cautions will be quickie yellows.
  • Fuel may only be added during stage breaks
  • Tires may be changed at any time
  • Stage breaks will consist of a three-minute break. Three minutes will start after the last vehicle stopped in their pit stall.
  • No crew members on pit road until all cars are stopped
  • Cannot change tires and fuel at the same time. Tires must be changed first, then fuel may be added
  • If tires are changed on green flag pit stops, must not complete stop faster than the minimum time allotted from yellow line to yellow line, 63 seconds
  • If tires are clearly flat entering pit road, they may be changed without being subject to minimum time

For the sixth time in 2025, #88-Connor Zilisch won the pole for an Xfinity Series race, this time for the Pacific Office Automation 147 at Portland International Raceway. Zilisch’s pole-winning speed of 96.648 mph was four-tenths of a second quicker than JR Motorsports teammate #7-Justin Allgaier (96.124 mph).
#21-Austin Hill, who has five top-five finishes in the last six road course races, will start third (96.101 mph). #18-William Sawalich was the best Toyota in fourth (96.003 mph). Four-time road course winner #41-Sam Mayer rounded out the top five (95.935 mph).
In his only scheduled start of the season, #24-Alon Day will take the green flag from sixth position. #48-Nick Sanchez, #8-Sammy Smith, #1-Carson Kvapil and #2-Jesse Love complete the top 10.
All 37 cars entered qualified for the race.
