#9-Shane van Gisbergen put on a masterclass performance in the Pit Boss/FoodMaxx 250 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Sonoma Raceway en route to the victory. He led 66 of 79 laps, scoring his sixth series victory and second at Sonoma.
#1-Connor Zilisch finished runner-up, with #19-Brent Crews finishing a distant third, over 15 seconds off the lead. Viking Motorsports collected a pair of top five finishes with #96-Anthony Alfredo and #99-Parker Retzlaff placing fourth and fifth.
#91-Carson Kvapil took the checkered flag in sixth, with #17-Corey Day, #41-Sam Mayer, #2-Jesse Love and #00-Sheldon Creed filling out the rest of the top 10.
#96-Alfredo won the opening stage, the first victory for himself and Viking Motorsports. #1-Zilisch won Stage 2 and raced from outside the top 10 to second position during the final stage.
There were eight lead changes among six drivers and four cautions for 11 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 76.305 mph.
