#41-Ross Chastain won the NC Education Lottery 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway Friday night following an overtime restart. The win is his first win of the year, first win at Charlotte, and the fourth Truck win of his career.
The final restart was set up following an accident between then leader #42-Carson Hocevar and #17-Ryan Preece. Hocevar got sideways and hit the wall, dashing his hopes of his first series win. Hocevar had led a race high 57 laps and appeared to be en route to the win. He held a six-second lead when a caution flag waved on lap 132 of the scheduled 134. The following restart set up the Hocevar/Preece battle.
#23-Grant Enfinger, #4-John Hunter Nemechek, #98-Christian Eckes, #38-Zane Smith, #15-Tanner Gray, #51-Kyle Busch, #18-Chandler Smith, #52-Stewart Friesen, and #99-Ben Rhodes were the remainder of the top-10.
Pole-sitter #66-Ty Majeski finished 13th.
Stage 1 was won by #38-Zane Smith.
Stage 2 was won by #99-Ben Rhodes.
There were 15 lead changes among nine drivers and five cautions for 25 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 125.827mph.
