John Hunter Nemechek completes unfinished business with Darlington win: The fastest truck won Friday’s Dead On Tools 200 at Darlington Raceway, but not without much ado between the green flag and the checkers. Pole winner John Hunter Nemechek fought through 10 cautions, an extra pit stop to tighten a loose wheel and a overtime restart to post his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory of the season, holding off hard-luck Carson Hocevar by .552 seconds in the two-lap shootout to the finish.(Read More)(5-6-2022)

#4-John Hunter Nemechek started from the pole, led the most laps, and won the Dead On Tools 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Darlington Raceway Friday night. The win is his first of the year, first at Darlington, and the 12th of his career.
For the second consecutive race #42-Carson Hocevar finished runner-up. #23-Grant Enfinger, #66-Ty Majeski, #75-Parker Kligerman, #17-Ryan Preece, #38-Zane Smith, #16-Tyler Ankrum, #62-Todd Bodine, and #25-Matt DiBenedetto were the remainder of the top-10.
#88-Matt Crafton initially finished fifth but was disqualified for his truck being too low in post race inspection.
Stage 1 was won by #75-Kligerman and Stage 2 was won by #42-Hocevar.
There were 16 lead changes among 9 drivers and 10 cautions for 54 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 91.625mph.
