#34-Layne Riggs recovered from a spin on lap one to win the UNOH 200 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway Thursday night. The win was his third of the season, second at Bristol, and the fifth of his career.
Riggs, along with third place finisher, #11-Corey Heim, is now locked into the Round of 8 with the win.
#99-Ben Rhodes finished second, the only driver to not make the playoffs to finish within the top-5.
With Heim finishing third, #98-Ty Majeski, #19-Daniel Hemric followed.
#15-Tanner Gray, #81-Connor Mosack, #44-Andres Perez, #77-Corey LaJoie, and #88-Matt Crafton closed out the top-10.
#13-Jake Garcia started from the pole and won stage 1, but a power-steering issue left him 33rd in the rundown, the lowest finish for a playoff driver.
#38-Chandler Smith also had mechanical issues and finished 30th.
Heim won stage 2 and led the most laps of the night at 122. Riggs led 110, taking the lead on lap 141 through the finish.
There were five lead changes among four drivers and four cautions for 31 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 91.163mph.
The trucks will head to New Hampshire Motor Speedway next weekend to close out the Round of 10 in the playoffs.

Lap 250: Riggs with the win after the big comeback from spinning on lap 1. Rhodes, Heim, Majeski, Hemric, Gray, Mosack, Perez, LaJoie and Crafton the top-10. The remainder of the playoff drivers: Honeycutt, 12th. Caruth, 15th. Ankrum, 20th. Smith, 30th. Garcia, 13th.
Lap 240: Nothing changing near the front. Riggs on his own pace, unchallenged. Majeski currently holding off Heim for third.
Lap 230/250: Riggs continues to lead. Rhodes, Majeski, Heim follow as he gets around Gray and brings Hemric with him.
Lap 210: 40 laps to go. Riggs just logging laps out front with over a 1-second lead over Rhodes. Majeski, Gray, Heim and Hemric follow.
Lap 141: Mix-up up front with some trucks not pitting under the yellow. Riggs will restart alongside Butcher. Riggs quickly jumps ahead and brings Gray with him.

Lap 98: Back to green as Heim leads the outside lane. Honeycutt inside with a slow start. Majeski and Riggs take position. Riggs clawed his way back from the lap 1 incident.
Lap 91: CAUTION Ankrum spins from the second spot after contact with Honeycutt.
Lap 86: Garcia led 14 laps, but drops to pitroad. Power steering issue. Heim continues to lead Ankrum, Honeycutt and Majeski.
Lap 78: Back to green for stage 2. Heim, Ankrum, Honeycutt lead after many, including stage 1 winner Garcia, make stops.
Lap 65: Garcia wins the stage after Heim dominated it. He’s second over Honeycutt, Ankrum, Majeski

Goodyear Tire Notes : The NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series will race on Friday and Thursday evenings respectively, with both series using the same Goodyear Racing Eagle tire setup as in April at the Tennessee track. In fact, this setup includes the same left- and right-side combinations that teams have run on Bristol’s concrete since September 2022. The left-side tires have also been run by teams in both series at a handful of other tracks this year.
