Getting the lead on a late restart, #8-Josh Berry cruised to the Xfinity Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This is Berry’s second consecutive win in the fall race at Las Vegas and his third win on the 2022 season. With the win, Berry has clinched a spot into the Championship 4 race at Phoenix.
Despite leading a race-high 87 laps, #9-Noah Gragson finished second. In eight starts at Las Vegas, he has top-six finishes in each race. #7-Justin Allgaier made it a JR Motorsports sweep of the podium, as #54-Ty Gibbs and #18-Trevor Bayne rounded out the top five.
#21-Austin Hill placed sixth, with #1-Sam Mayer, #11-Daniel Hemric, #19-Brandon Jones and #23-Antony Alfredo making up the top 10.
#54-Gibbs won the first stage, his seventh of the season. #9-Gragson won Stage 2, his 14th stage win of 2022 — and the second most of all drivers in a single season since stages were implemented in 2017.
There were 14 lead changes among nine drivers and three cautions for 15 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was 145.613 mph.
