In dominant fashion, #21-Austin Hill scored the victory in Saturday’s Credit One NASCAR Amex Credit Card 300 Xfinity Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Hill swept all three stages and led a race-high 82 laps. It’s his first win on a non-superspeedway since July 2023 at Pocono Raceway.
#00-Cole Custer led 67 laps, but was passed by Hill with 12 laps remaining and finished second. #20-Aric Almirola finished third, with #2-Jesse Love and #18 Sheldon Creed rounding out the top five.
#98-Riley Herbst rebounded from an unscheduled pit stop to finish sixth. #28-Ryan Sieg, #7-Justin Allgaier, #1-Sam Mayer and #16-AJ Allmendinger rounded out the top 10.
Playoff drivers finishing outside the top 10 were #81-Chandler Smith, who placed 13th after having a bad final pit stop. #8-Sammy Smith had issues throughout the race and finished one lap down in 22nd.
There were 10 lead changes among six drivers and three cautions for 19 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 128.220 mph.

For the third time in 2024, #81-Chandler Smith won the Xfinity Series pole (163.305 mph), as he will lead the Xfinity Series field to the green flag for Saturday’s Credit One NASCAR Amex Credit Card 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This is Smith’s sixth career pole, and his first on an intermediate track since March 2023 (Las Vegas).
Joe Gibbs Racing swept the three positions in qualifying, with #18-Sheldon Creed (162.822 mph) and #20-Aric Almirola (162.749 mph). #00-Cole Custer will start fourth (162.558 mph) and #7-Justin Allgaier (162.553 mph) rounds out the top five.
#16-AJ Allmendinger, #48-Parker Kligerman, #98-Riley Herbst, #1-Sam Mayer and #8-Sammy Smith complete the top 10.
