By the slimmest of margins, #1-Sam Mayer won the Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 Xfinity Series race at Texas Motor Speedway over #39-Ryan Sieg. The .002-second margin of victory is the second-closest finish in series history. This is Mayer’s first win of the 2024 season.
#39-Sieg matched the best finish of his career in second. It’s his first top-five finish since late in the 2022 season (Talladega). #7-Justin Allgaier led a race-high 117 laps and won both stages, but dropped to third in the finishing order. #16-AJ Allmendinger and #00-Cole Custer rounded out the top five.
#21-Austin Hill placed sixth, with #20-Ryan Truex, #8-Sammy Smith, #2-Jesse Love and #5-Anthony Alfredo completing the top 10.
There were 16 lead changes among 10 drivers and seven cautions for 35 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 125.977 mph.

Lap 200: #1-Mayer makes a late rally to edge #39-Sieg for the win in a photo finish. The .002 seconds margin of victory is the second-closest finish in series history.
Lap 191: #98-Herbst blows a left-front tire after contact with #9-Jones on the restart.
Lap 183: #18-Creed clips the frontstretch grass and turns #91-Weatherman. #15-Deegan also piled in to the incident.
Lap 181: #1-Mayer takes the lead from #9-Jones. #39-Sieg passes #1-Mayer for the lead.
