Robert Yates announced his new driver for the #28 Texaco-Havoline Ford, today in Indianapolis. Yates plans on having Irwin do a lot of testing and will have him run in a limited race schedule this season. As for Texaco, Chuck Cossage, Vice President of Worldwide Advertising for Texaco said he was extremely optimistic about the new combination. Sounds like Texaco will be back in 1998, so forget the Wheaties rumor to the #28(8-1-97)
