Budweiser, sponsor of the #50 Chevy, which has a contract with Hendrick Motorsports through 2000, likely would be the last to bolt. Hendrick, one of NASCAR’s top four multi-car operations, has a way of keeping sponsors happy, although Bud has not won with Hendrick since 1995. Complicating matters is a driver search, with Randy LaJoie and now Wally Dallenbach replacing starter Ricky Craven, with Wally supposedly in the car the rest of this year.( SpeedNet/Ben Blake ) (08-30-1998)
