Well, today was supposedly the day #31 Lowes Chevy crew chief Larry McReynolds announced his 1999 plans, as either a crew chief or team owner. Didn’t happen. McReynolds now says the decision will come in the next few days. Sponsorship for his possible Cup team is the holdup at this point.(NASCAR Today Radio)(9-15-98) note, see above story
