I got asked a few times why Andy Hillenburg was driving the #18 MBNA Pontiac in the NAPA 300 at Daytona. During the race CBS said because the the team was not eligible for a provisional with Steve Grissom driving the car as he is a full-time Winston Cup driver(Johnny Benson was a more recent BGN Champ, so that prov was not available to Grissom)(2-13-1999)
