Winston Cup rookie Buckshot Jones, who failed to make the field for last week’s Daytona 500(and the DuraLube/BigKmart 400), is negotiating a consulting deal with Hendrick Motorsports. Jones, the most popular driver in the BGN last season, posted some of the slowest qualifying and testing times last week at Daytona International Speedway.
