the #93 Amoco Pontiac will be driven at South Boston by Tom Hubert, a part-time Craftsman Truck Series and Winston Cup driver and current Bill Davis Racing employee. Dave Blaney will be at Michigan attempting to make his first Cup race with the #93 Amoco Pontiac. Should Blaney qualify for the KMART 400 at Michigan this weekend, it will NOT be his first Winston Cup start. In 1992, Blaney earned a spot in the fall Winston Cup race at Rockingham for fellow Ohioan Stan Hover, starting 36th and finishing 31st. Although he failed to qualify for the Busch Series race at Michigan in 1998, Blaney has two ARCA starts (1996-97) at Michigan. For Crew Chief Gil Martin, his first start with Blaney and Amoco Ultimate Team 93 will be his 75th NASCAR Winston Cup start, extending back to his 1993 debut with Jeff Burton at New Hampshire(Bill Davis PR)(6-7-1999)
