in the goRacing chat with Jeff Gordon, someone asked about Gordon’s contract status. Gordon’s contract comes up at the end of the year 2000. No decisions have to be made until next June(2000). He would negotiation with owner Rick Hendrick first, and then he would go to the sponsors. Gordon also said: “If it was up to me, I’d like to drive a car for Rick Hendrick forever.”
