BGN driver Elton Sawyer and the #98 Lysol Racing Team will be competing for $1,000,000 when the green flag is dropped at this fall’s Autolite Platinum 250 at Richmond International Raceway on Sept. 10. The twist is that the real winners will be medically underserved children. Reckitt & Colman Inc., maker of Lysol brand cleaners and disinfectants, will present The Children’s Health Fund (CHF) with a $25,000 check before Sawyer starts the event. Should Sawyer and the Lysol Team win the race, Reckitt & Colman will donate $1,000,000 to CHF. The money will be used to provide essential medical care to underserved children throughout the country.
