Not Tony Stewart this year but Jason Leffler, Joe Gibbs rookie BGN driver, is making plans to drive in the Indianapolis 500. Leffler will drive car owner Joe Gibbs’ #18 Pontiac in the CarQuest Auto Parts 300 BGN race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on May 27, then hop a jet to race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway the next day. Leffler is talking to Indy team owner Fred Treadway about the one-off Indy 500 effort.
