Another Crew Chief Change? UPDATE yep:

hearing Doug Richert and the #32 Tide team have parted ways UPDATE: PPI Motorsports and Doug Richert, crew chief for the #32 Tide Ford driven by Scott Pruett, have mutually agreed to part ways. Richert has opted to pursue other opportunities while PPI Motorsports focuses on restructuring the current management team for the Tide Winston Cup crew. Joe Garone, current program director for PPI Motorsports’ NASCAR Winston Cup and Busch teams and former crew chief for the #94 McDonald’s Ford, will temporarily fulfill crew chief duties on the #32 Tide Ford and ultimately take a more active role in the actual competition management of PPIM’s Tide Winston Cup team. Additional overall management support comes in the form of increased leadership roles for Roy McCauley, engineer for the #32 Tide Ford, and Pat Smith, crew chief for PPI Motorsports’ #97 McDonald’s Ford Busch car(PPI Motorsports PR)(5-2-2000)
