it was reported on the The LTN Hour on Sunday(6-4) that Power Team will probably leave the Joe Bessey owned #60 Cup car and Bessey may go back to the BGN series(6-6-2000) UPDATE: the Winston Cup Scene Magazine is reporting that #60 owner Joe Bessey has been informed that Power Team will not pick up its option for 2001. The deal was originally a three year deal starting in 1999 but was changed to a two year deal with a option when PECO merged with another company. The story also notes that Bessey makes no guarantees that driver Geoffrey Bodine will finish the season as his driver but that he hopes so. Bessey is looking for a sponosr for the 2001 season(6-8-2000)
