The signature design benefits Give Kids The World. Heather Mason, 13, of Berkeley, Ill., created the outer-space themed design featured on the Tide Ford. Heathers paint scheme was the winning entry in the annual Tide race car coloring contest at Give Kids The World. Heather, who is battling an inoperable brain tumor, first visited the Give Kids The World village in 1997. Why Phoenix and not Homestead as was planned after Lowes? Heather will have the opportunity to see her grandfather, Chuck Castle, of Mesa, AZ for the first time in three years during her visit to Phoenix for race weekend.
