Peter Sospenzo, Jeremy Mayfields crew chief, was understandably absent at Phoenix Sunday. On Saturday, Sospenzo attended his grandmothers funeral in New York. He planned to fly to Phoenix that afternoon. Unfortunately, while leaving the funeral, an uncle of Sospenzos was struck by a car and killed.
