Cat Paint at the Winston: hearing Ward Burton will run a special paint scheme at The Winston called “Clear Hood” or something like that. The hood will be pained up tp look like there is a Cat C16 truck engine under the hood(3-29-2001) UPDATE: The Winston has long been regarded as Winston Cup’s All Star event. It is a non-points event, which allows drivers and sponsors alike the opportunity to shine. It is no different for Ward Burton and his sponsor Caterpillar. Both Burton and Caterpillar intend on glowing at Lowe’s Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 19. This year, Caterpillar chose to highlight CAT Truck Engines, while allowing Burton to “borrow” a CAT C-16 from the factory.
