DW back racing? Darrell Waltrip isn’t sure what he’ll do the rest of the year after Sunday’s final Winston Cup broadcast on Fox, but he isn’t ruling out getting back into a race car. “I sure wouldn’t mind running Bristol, Martinsville or maybe Watkins Glen,” Waltrip said Saturday. “Just to keep my license current. With the right opportunity, I probably would at the right race track.” Waltrip made some laps Friday at Sears Point Raceway in a Jack Roush-built Mustang and said it felt good. But is he seriously considering a return to racing? “I am not seriously considering anything,” he said. ” We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.”(That’s Racin’)(6-24-2001)
