Kranefuss to Chevy or Dodge? hearing both Chevrolet and Dodge have made overtures to Michael Kranefuss concerning his Winston Cup(#84) and BGN(#’98 part owner) teams for next season. Apparently, they noticed the tremendous exposure Shawna Robinson and that team have received in two races this season, and are talking to Kranefuss about being part of the picture for next season. Heard Ford wouldn’t talk to Kranefuss about a tractor for the team’s transporter or even a loaner car at the Michigan race. Apparently, so did Chevrolet and Dodge – both mentioned loaner cars almost immediately in their conversations. Since Kranefuss also has the BGN team of Elton Sawyer, talks have included that team has well to some degree(6-26-2001) (6-25-2001)
