Race fans will have a chance to help unveil the 2002 paint scheme of the #36 GNC Live Well car, driven by Hank Parker Jr. in the BGN. Beginning Monday, Jan. 14, fans visiting the official Web site of the GNC Live Well Racing team, www.GNCRacing.com, will be asked a trivia question concerning Hank Parker Jr., the race team or his sponsor. If fans choose the correct answer, they can point and click on a photo of the GNC Live Well car to reveal a portion of the 2002 paint scheme. Each day of the week will bring a new trivia question, with each correct answer uncovering more of the No. 36 entry. This week-long interactive feature will culminate with the final piece of the car being unveiled on the Web site on Friday, Jan. 18. On that same date, Hank Parker Jr. will reveal the actual car at the Busch Series Preview at the Charlotte Merchandise Mart in North Carolina. To maintain the suspense, fans can.t uncover the final piece of the car until Parker unveils the actual car around 5 p.m. ET. In addition to seeing the new paint scheme first, fans will have a chance to win a collectable lithograph by visiting the GNC Live Well Racing site. On Friday, Jan. 18, a special bonus trivia question will be asked. The first fan to respond via e-mail with the correct answer will win a limited edition lithograph of Hank Parker Jr. and the No. 36 GNC Live Well car. Steve Breakfield, the same artist who designed both the 2001 and 2002 GNC Live Well paint schemes, created this special artwork. The numbered lithograph is one of only 250 in existence, and has been signed by both artist and driver. Breakfield, owner of Steve Breakfield Studios, is also responsible for designing the 2002 Winston Cup paint schemes for driver Mark Martin, Tony Stewart and Johnny Benson. Examples of his work can be seen at www.sbstudios.com.(Keystone Marketing)(1-12-2002)
