UPDATE: FitzBradshaw Racing has named two new crew chiefs for the #12 and #14 Chevrolets, confirming the teams starting line up for the 2004 NASCAR Busch Series season. Earlier this week, the team announced that drivers Casey Atwood and Tim Fedewa would be back next year. Jay Guy will lead the team for the #14 Chevrolet, driven by Atwood. Guy comes to FitzBradshaw Racing from MBV Motorsports, where he served as the crew chief for Johnny Benson and the #10 Pontiac.
Gary Cogswell will head up the #12 Chevrolet, piloted by Fedewa. Cogswell joins the team from BelCar Racing where he served as crew chief for Todd Bodine and the #54 National Guard Ford in 2003. In 2000, Cogswell worked with Fedewa at Buckshot Racing.
Everyone is really starting to get excited about next season, FitzBradshaw Racing co-owner Armando Fitz said. I think Jay (Guy) will really help this Navy team excel and reach its potential. Gary (Cogswell) and Tim have worked together before and were hopeful that will help create a successful combination.
We really want to be a competitive force this year, FitzBradshaw Racing co-owner Terry Bradshaw said. I think with both of our drivers coming back and with experienced, proven crew chiefs coming in, we should really be competitive in the points race.(PSE-3/FitzBradshaw Racing PR)(12-10-2003)
