Vassarette, a maker of women’s intimate apparel, announced at Daytona International Speedway on Tuesday that it was signing on as Tina Gordon’s primary sponsor for the full season. Its orange colors will be on Gordon’s #13 Chevy, fielded by ThorSport Racing, in Friday night’s opening race, the Florida Dodge Dealers 250. Gordon also will have a ride for NASCAR’s Busch series race at Talladega Superspeedway in April. She has sponsorship from Sticks’N’ Stuff furniture for that stock car event.(Alabama Live)(2-11-2004)
