NASCAR has fined Jon R. Wolfe, crew chief for the #1 Dodge driven by Johnny Benson, $2,000 for an infraction discovered Feb. 20 during NASCAR Busch Series post-qualifying inspection at North Carolina Speedway. Wolfe was penalized under Section 12-4-A of the NASCAR Busch Series Rule Book (Actions detrimental to stock car racing) and Section 12-4-Q (Any determination by NASCAR Officials that parts and/or equipment used in the Event do not conform to NASCAR rules: unapproved front spring).(NASCAR PR)(2-23-2004)
