UPDATE: Engine tuner John Dennison has left Kevin Harvick’s #29 RCR team to replace crew member Jeff Clark on Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s #8 car. Clark submitted his resignation in January, but he stayed on to help the team through Speedweeks. UPDATE 2: One of the final touches to the #29 Team GM Goodwrench was made over the off-weekend in Welcome, NC. In search of a permanent engine tuner to fill the position vacated by John Dennison [who went to DEI] in January, Danny Lawrence, Trackside Engine Manager for Richard Childress Racing Enterprises, Inc. (RCR), hired John Goodwin [not Munson, RCR corrected this]. A 36-year old Houston, Texas native, Munson came from Bill Davis Racing’s #22 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series racing team.(RCR #29 Preview)(3-3-2004)
