Casey Mears will make his first Busch Series start of the season on Friday night in the Winn-Dixie 250 at Daytona International Speedway in the #1 Dodge owned by James Finch. Mears believes by running both the Busch Series and Nextel Cup events at Daytona that he will increase his chances of having a good weekend. In 49 Busch Series starts during the 2002 and 2003 seasons, Mears’ best finish was fourth at Chicagoland Raceway.
