Carl Long and NASCAR Busch Series team owner, Tyrrell Madden, have
teamed up in hopes of running the final two NASCAR Busch Series races of the season at Darlington Raceway and Homestead-Miami Speedway. The team will operate under #90 with Carl Long behind the wheel, and will utilize Long’s Busch Series Dodge stockcar, and Madden’s Busch Series Dodge engine. USAR Hooters Pro Cup veteran, Greg Marlowe, has been helping the newly formed team prepare the car for competition. Carl Long is making available a special offer for companies who are looking to sponsor in the NASCAR Busch Series; who want high profile car coverage, but do not have a lot of money to spend. For $20,000 per race, the sponsor will receive full primary sponsorship coverage on the #90 Long/Madden Dodge. “This is going to be a complete effort, not no start and park deal,” Carl Long stated. “We just want to race, but we need a little help to get us there.” This offer is available for the BI-LO 300 at Darlington Raceway on November 13th, and the Ford 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 20th.(Carl Long Racing)(11-2-2004)
