The Busch Series hauler of Kenny Wallace turned into interstate target practice somewhere on the 34-hour trip from Phoenix to High Point, N.C. “My crew chief called Monday and said ‘Who’d you make mad? We’ve got three bullet holes in our [hauler],'” Wallace said. Scott Weston, the truck driver for the Bill Davis Racing team, discovered the holes on the hauler’s left side upon returning. Weston and his co-driver never heard the shots, which didn’t harm any of the team’s equipment.
“It just shows there’s some people that don’t have anything to do in life,” Wallace said.(Richmond Times Dispatch)(11-13-2004)
