#37 R&J Racing releases crew chief: The #37 R&J Racing Team has released crew chief Billy Poindexter from the team as of Monday [5-16]. Poindexter has been the crew chief for the R&J Racing Team since the fall of 2004. Owners John Carter and Roger Craven made the decision due to the teams’ recent lack of performance. The decision to let Poindexter go was also tough on R&J Racing driver Kevin Lepage as well. As of today Poindexter will have no affiliation with the R&J Racing Team. A new crew chief has not yet been announced as the R&J Racing Team is in search of a new crew chief.
