Glenn Darrow has replaced Billy Poindexter as crew chief for R&J Racing’s #37 Dodge driven by Kevin Lepage in the Nextel Cup Series. Poindexter, who joined the team during the 2004 season, was released after Lepage failed to qualify at Richmond last month. Darrow, who previously worked as a mechanic for the team helped lead Lepage to a 12th-place finish in Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.(NASCAR Scene Daily Newsletter)(6-1-2005)
