Dallenbach Brothers Return to Pike Peak:

The Dallenbachs have not only one entry in this year Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb with returning Open Wheel champion, Paul Dallenbach, but adds NASCAR racing’s [NBC/TNT] Wally Dallenbach, Jr. to make it a family affair. This will be the 10th entry of a Dallenbach to the PPIHC with the first being in 1983. That is one of the reasons why Wally Dallenbach, Sr. chose this venue to receive his induction into the Colorado Motorsports Hall of Fame last year. An annual event since 1916, the June 25th, 2005 date of the PPIHC marks the 83rd running of event. The race is a dangerous sprint of 12.4 miles, a test of intelligence and awareness that begins at 9,200 feet and finishes at the 14,110 foot summit of Pikes Peak the birthplace of America the Beautiful. The Dallenbachs’ appearance together this year at the PPIHC is made possible through their sponsor, Air Synergy Labs, Inc, (ASL) manufacturers of the Vortex Valve. ASL is dedicated to making more horsepower with less fuel. Both #98 driven by Paul and #17 driven by Wally Jr. will be sporting Air Synergy Labs colors and equipped with the Vortex Valve.(realtime-marketing PR)(6-3-2005)
