Denny Hamlin’s #20 Chevrolet will be sporting a AAA Mid-Atlantic logo on its deck lid in today’s MBNA RacePoints 200 for the second of four races this year. The company, which is opening new corporate offices this weekend in nearby Wilmington, has sponsored the 24-year-old from Chesterfield in Late Models. Hamlin’s mother, Mary Lou, has worked for AAA for more than 30 years. “There’s two things that are very important to me in life: family and racing,” said Hamlin, whose car will carry AAA again at Richmond and Dover in the fall. “AAA has been a big part of both of those.”(Richmond Times Dispatch)(6-4-2005)
