#5-Mike Skinner won the pole for the Toyota Tundra 200 at Nashville Superspeedway breaking the previous track record with a lap of 161.440mph, his 4th pole of the season and 19th of his career. #22-Bill Lester will start 2nd on the outside pole, followed by #38-Brandon Whitt, #16-Jack Sprague and #14-Rick Crawford. #8-Deborah Renshaw will start 8th with her new sponsor, her best career start. Points leader #46-Dennis Setzer will start 16th. #59-Robert Pressley gets the final spot, 36th. Two drivers will miss the race: #24-Roland Isaacs and #68-Wayne Edwards.
