Points leader #1-Ted Musgrave finished 20th and clinched the 2005 Craftsman Truck Series Championship as 2nd in points, #46-Dennis Setzer finished 18th, allowing Musgrave to win by 52 points. Pole sitter, #17-David Reutimann, had engine problems and ended up 36th and last. There were 7 cautions for 24 laps and 9 lead changes among 9 drivers with winner #30-Bodine leading the most with 74 in 134 laps.
