Nashville’s Casey Atwood will not return to Brewco Motorsports this season, at least not as a full-time driver. The race team has announced that Cup drivers Greg Biffle, Jamie McMurray and Ward Burton will share time in its two Busch Series cars. They also will continue their full-time Cup duties. Team manager Todd Wilkerson said Biffle will run 11 races and McMurray 12 in the #37 [was the #66 last year]. Burton will run at least 20 in the #27. “It’s all sponsor-driven,” Wilkerson said. “Sponsors want to see Cup drivers in the cars.” He said there is a chance a Busch driver or drivers could run some of the remaining races and Atwood could be in that mix.(Tennessean)(1-10-2007)
